We are told

That we are

Not enough,

‍

That we are

At fault

By the big people..

All 'for our own good'

‍

We then

Take on those voices

As our 'self'

And continue

To correct our self,

For our own good.

Trying to be

Good enough.

‍

And in the trying

Simply confirming

Our not enoughness.

‍

It's all so tragic,  

And yet,

Completely innocent.
