The light

Of the world,

Is not yours,

Or the world's.

There is

Only light,

Inseparable

From dark.

There is

No you

And no world,

Just this

Wonderful

Light,

That is

Utterly

Dark.

Longed

For more

Light,

Especially

When I was

Afraid

Of the dark.

I thought

That I'd

Seen the light,

And tried

So hard

To get too it

Again,

To banish

The darkness

Forever,

To live

In light

Resplendent!

‍

But the

Darkness

Was never

A threat.

‍

Everything

Is light,

Nothing

Is dark.

‍

The light

Is always

Darkness

Appearing

Light,

And the

Darkness;

So Feared,

Is only light

Appearing

Dark.

‍

No light

Without dark,

No dark

Without light.

‍

There really

Is no knowing

Of the light

From the dark.
